The whole set up for Game of Thrones was brilliant: a dark, supernatural force is on it's way. It's a seemingly unstoppable threat that could destroy the entire world. The only hope is the characters we come to known throughout the series but they're too busy squabbling amongst themselves and they have to find a way to band together before it's too late. This series will be studied for years on how to completely destroy something that had the potential to be so good. You can't even rewatch the earlier seasons because of how massively screwed up everything becomes by the end.
