Nice work... from experience if you want some 'let off, point and go' get yourself an uprated rear sway bar, something like the 034 Motorsport which has two settings 👊🏻👊🏻👍🏻

I agree! Been running that for 5+ years now!

Have fun with that clutch break in. Not sure what SB recommends but I ended up putting 1k on my DKM S3 before getting on it. that was a long thousand miles shifting at 3k rpm and staying out of boost.

I plan on doing as much in town driving as I can before the big opening SCCA event on the 10th, then that following week we're off to Houston for TX2K.. Hoping she's nice and broken in for both, Houston is gonna be the real test on the car at sea level, last time I took the car (2017)I was spiking 32psi with E30 blend and broke my PVC lol white smoke all down the highway 😅

@@BryceJordanProductions Interested to see how much different your times are this year after making the suspension changes on the car. Also then after you do the turbo swap. That clutch pedal is going to give you a left leg work out initially as well

Same same! I'm super excited! My leg is ready, should be worth the workout lol

Hey Bryce, thanks again for an awesome DIY vid! Can you tell me why your kit doesn't have the black plastic bracket shown in the DAP link? (At least I didn't see you install it) Thanks man, hope all is well on your deployment 👍🏻
@BryceJordanProductions4 жыл бұрын
Thanks man!! And I did, they're not plastic though. They're the brackets that go from the body of the car to the subframe to help keep it in place, I believe they're aluminum.
@Kevin_MK7RSR4 жыл бұрын
Bryce Jordan Productions : Thanks man. Is it petty obvious where they go and how they orient?
@BryceJordanProductions4 жыл бұрын
@@Kevin_MK7RSR Absolutely, you'll see the two holes on the frame side and those brackets will fit right in there and line up with the hole in the subframe

For daily use, but want sharply handling,would you recommend it? Also mqb platform uses those subframe bolt location to adjust the camber and caster. If this kit locks the subframe, how to perform an alignment? Thanks for your answer.
@BryceJordanProductions2 жыл бұрын
You'll want camber plates to further adjust camber really. This kit is the bomb you won't regret it, especially paired with the eurocode front brace. I suggest -2 camber front -1.5 or so rear with a tenth inch toe out front and rear 😏

Is this legal for STU? Any rubber removed from the stock mounting or is it all just bolts?
@BryceJordanProductions4 жыл бұрын
Nothing gets removed (as in tossed) except for the OEM hardware (bolts), you're adding collars and new ARP bolts. Not sure on the class rules.. I've never paid attention to the rules 😅 just always did whatever and landed up in SM

After hitting potholes my Mk7 Golf TDI Sportwagen had noticeable more play in the steering feel. I’ve been to 3 VW dealership shops, and German specialist, and all they say there’s nothing wrong with my rack or pinion. They pretty much said it was in my head. But I’ve noticed it regardless. I thought it was the tie rods loose or something. This kit may just fix the issue!

Hopefully it does!!

Does anyone know the part number for the ARP bolts?
@BryceJordanProductions5 жыл бұрын
Tyrol said they were custom made for them.. maybe shoot them an email and see what you can find out

Do you feel it shifting around?

I could before this when really really pushing the car. But it did seem to creak often

Not at all! Steering feel is better, definitely a needed upgrade if you track your car!
