Because it isn't a touhou leitmotif. It's from a song that remixes a touhou song, yes, but the leitmotif isn't present. Lotus is an arrange of Eastern Ghostly Dream ~ Ancient Temple. That leitmotif does not appear in the original song, at all.

Love the mix of the S&K miniboss theme with elements from the Bean Machine. Which is perfect for what this is for. And ueah, better RL whisking as a very... Subtle hint. Not that BE is well known unless you find them.

I didnt realize until now that they incorporated Danger on the Dance Floor (from Sonic Mania) into this track, along with the other motifs like Puyo Puyo and S3&K miniboss

The background stuff being real-life whisking is an absolute GENIUS way to keep spoilers for this song to an absolute minimum whilst also providing a sneaky hint.

The song being a remix of a remix of Ancient Temple from Touhou 7 combined with the miniboss themes of Sonic 3K and Mania plus some Mean Bean stuff is kinda funny Boss itself is fine idk it'll be interesting to see adventure mode happen some millenia

This song almost reminds me of that “All my fellas” with the piano sample at the beginning. Spoiler Below: I loved the boss fight, it was relatively simple, but it’s fun, and it’s also in a small arena in a kart racer, so it’s fine.

We're whisking the- uh... we're whisking with this one boysssss (SPOILER-ish below) Hours ago I finally got to the place where you find this musicbin particular. Almost lost it, but got through first try. Knew of the whisk, but had managed to avoid watching anything about it until the day I got there. Worth it.
