Tyron Woodley is very smart, the best fighters in the world aren't in the UFC, they are people who know that fighting as a sport is not worth the health risks, there are better things to do with your life. It is amazing that the UFC even had a way to become successful, because it means it needs a lot of desperate people who are willing to fight for money. Which is a reflection of how bad we are doing as a species. We so far from being civilized, if people enjoy watching fighting it shows how barbaric we still are as a species. It explains why we still have so much conflict in the world, and why we can't simply live in peace together. In a true advanced civilization there won't be any war and fighting won't exist as a sport, people won't have any desire for such wasteful activities, there will be better things to spend their time on and better opportunities available for everyone. People won't exploit people for money like they do now.

Joe Rogan if you don't realize the what Tyron Woodley is saying is correct, your out of your mind. If you don't understand that if he lost that fight that Dana would never let him make another title run, you are crazy. Alex G. . I think proper planning pays off. Many many successful people have become so without self centered conniving sort of effort.. And are usually more sustained financially because they form stronger bonds with their business partners. What you have in the fighting\entertainmemt industry is a show where controversy creates excitement, and appearing to be without concience fulfills a domineering shameless fantasy that so many people wish to act out... In real life high functioning people are well rounded and accessible to their fellows. Perhaps we agree.

+nick gerz | Anderson Silva at one time was defeating the best of the best, but was harshly criticized because of *how* he was defeating his competition (Cote, Leites, Maia). Fast forward one year after his fight against Maia and he's all of a sudden regarded as one of the most entertaining finishers in all of mixed martial arts (Belfort, Okami, Sonnen 2, Bonnar). Georges St-Pierre, initially was an exciting fighter who went for finishes, but after reaching a certain level of financial success he started to play it safe (2010-2013); however, GSP's safe-style of fighting was curtailed by his kind, honest, and respectful personality so much of his criticisms were drowned out by the loyal fans he had won (in addition to his Canadian following). Woodley does himself no favors by complaining and playing the victim when his reign is still in its infancy.

I’m black, so I understand his plight but he definitely complains way to damn much. He’s the champ, keep winning and people will see him as such. I understand he wants as much money as everyone else but he currently doesn’t have the pay per view buys to get the same pay day as Conor or GSP. It’ll come Tyron, stop whining and telling everyone what you’ve done lol.

Let's be honest Tyron is a good dude and shouldn't be disrespected! He's an unbelievable athlete. He's the only 1 on the UFC roster outside of GSP (maybe) that's the best overall athlete! In my opinion, he would pose a legitimate threat to dethrone Khabib and stop his winning streak. The guy can flat out wrestle but can box as well. The power he packs with his punches are downright scary. His last fight was evident of that. Tyron deserves more respect.
