Tyrone was a friend of this white boy. Met him at the race track in Chi-Town my brother and I were trainers. Ty would be at the track every chance he got looking for us to give him winners and he loved us for it. Especially the night I gave him a $78 winner. What a great guy Ty was! In 1999 my wife and I were in Vegas when I saw he was preforming at the Flamingo. I called his room Ty answered. I said hey man what are you doing it's your man Dan I'm in Vegas. He said WTF, come to my show tonight. Told him we're there brother. He he left us 3 tickets. Saw the show then went up his suite afterwards. Next morning he met me in the race book and we bet on some Chicago Harness Racing. In 1999 I retired from training and moved to Vegas. I was sick to my stomach when I heard Ty died in 2005. I still listen to his music all the time. Brings back all the good memories of have of Mr Cool. The one and only Tyrone Davis.

One of my fun memories was at the paradise with tyrone! Man we had a ball. He would come to town twice a year and put on 2- shows for the price of one!! You definitely got your money worth. There will never be another time like it was then. Ofcourse to help with those memories, there was a special lady by my side Oh what a time!! I will always remember Tyrone Davis.

Tyrone Davis is the Artist I have seen perform LIVE more than any other with the possible exception of JAMES BROWN. Stood within a few feet of TD at the High Chaparral in Chicago. He just stood silently. Never forget that moment. Wrote a song for him called "Checking You Out" which I released under my artist name Imperial Brown and the Million Seller. Unfortunately he didn't get a chance to record it.

I love his voice. I can listen to him sing all day long. But still my favorite song he sang is Can I Change My Mind. Had the 45 and played it over and over just to hear his beautiful voice. I'd just sit back and listen to every note he sang . It gave me pure pleasure and enjoyment just to hear him sing. Man you don't hear voices like that anymore. 🎶😇❤️

This man should he in the hall of fame. All of these so called new singers who cannot sing and don’t have as many hits this man put out get all kinds of rewards why because it’s a sham. I still listen to Tyrone all the time. New singers need to get their on style or sound. Every one sounds the same.

We were living, breathing and acting in our higher self. You can look at how talented we were. Everyone had their own unique sound. We as a people fell when we allowed others to put a demonic spirit in a system entitled rap music. And as usual the powers to be get rich while blackamoor stay poor and die.
