I wish I knew how to sing. And I believe it’s never too late to learn how to sing and have a great voice! I used to pay the piano as a little girl grown up, but I never sing. But every time I hear soul music, and gospel, it’s in my soul and I have a passion about singing and I’m in my mid 30s. I never thought I would want to sing. Since I got older, now I want to sing and have passion for singing and it’s never too late. I love singing now!

bro you are in your bag with this style of video ! there are many good scale exercises to beats on youtube but the way that you just flow and invent it on the spot with call and response is unique. i think it should be an ongoing series. continued success 💯

Dude I've been trying to be lighter, low more and get less 'stiff' with my vocals for months, and it wasn't until I found your vids that I felt I could actually achieve it. Many thanks!

I only have one criticism/request you’re teaching method makes sense but if you could please stay on one riff for extended periods before going into the next one in the sequence, that would be really, really helpful because just when you think you might have it on the first sequence, you have to resetand do a slightly more complicated riff on the second and on the third so please spend more time on each individual riff so that we can listen sing-along and then go onto the next one

Although this guy is a great singer. And can do amazing beautiful and effortless runs. I wish these lessons were better explained. Perhaps using some a piano (,, the scale and or number system). So that we can make sure we are hearing the proper pitches. Slowing the runs down,, Would be really helpful. Because when those things are not done,, the lesson more or less (i’m sure unintentionally),, comes off as him showing us how great he is. Rather than teaching us technically what he’s doing and how we can strategically master the technique. But I’m just talking,, I hope no one takes any offense. I just wanna understand what he’s doing,,. Because I cannot hear all of the pitches clearly. it would be nice to be able to have some type of number system to refer to the piano. to make sure I’m hitting the right notes.

I agree with what you're saying but it's a free lesson, not a master class. It's tons of value for free.

All depends on what level you are at for a singer tho. As i am progressing, i love finding stuff like this to give me insperation on practice rutines. I am sure this guy has other videos, on more detailed stuff for beginners. If not, then there are tons of others that do. It's maybe a bit selfish to think every music teaching video is directed at YOU, not to be disrespectful, just a thought
@kingkenutu9362 ай бұрын
He is not showing off, I don’t think so. This’s a higher level of singing geared towards those who’re more advanced. Like he said…keep doing it, repeating it…over and over until you get it. If you want it…

@TheSubwaysurfer5 ай бұрын
I think because he’s doing this for so many years in his mind and for his ability, he thinks he slowed this down enough for us to repeat. But for a beginner who is just learning about pitch and tone and breath and listening, and everything else he’s going much too fast and not staying on a particular riff long enough it would be much better if he would spend an entire video, not giving us so much variety but focusing on one or two.
