Fury fibs are expected by now. He made a few million for the Klitschko fight. They agreed to a deal before the purse bid went through. The purse bid would have guaranteed Fury £3.6 million. So depending on the deal he reached with Klitschko's team, he made somewhere close to that number or over.

The fight being announced early was to do with a governing body, I think it was the IBF. If they didn’t announce something signed then Usyk would have been stripped, or at the very least, his mandatory would have been called to fight him next… Announcing the Fury fight before the set date, overruled the mandatory challenger.

I think Floyd knew he could tank anything Conor threw. His durability had been tested and he's been rocked before, he wasn't going to eat any shots that were going to end him before McGregor gassing out. And sure enough he got hit a lot in the early rounds, blocked a lot and even ate one decent uppercut, but nothing phased him. Tyson by contrast knows that if he gets hit clean (and Wilder showed him this) he is going down. However, unless his lights are completely out, he's getting up no matter what.

Announcing the Usyk fight prior to the Ngannou bout was the only thing that stopped the Ngannou bout being the biggest failure in history. It will make huge revenue but it will never make more than the huge ammounts that the spent on the promotion.

Genuinely curious to know if Francis' coach Mike Tyson would have better odds vs Fury this weekend 🙃

If you've seen the sparring clips, Mike looks a lot faster with high twitch movements. Francis looks like he's punching underwater

I doubt it would make much of a difference win or lose but if he was being coached for 3-5 years we would be having a different conversation.
