I believe Tyson is right that he stayed in longer but what Vladimir is probably amused by is that he's basically implying he just went in for a sauna and then had his time in there and got out, just like the other blokes did. Whereas Tyson in his mind made it all about who could stay in longer, and I've been in saunas at my gym before and everyone doesn't get in and out at the same time anyway and people just come and go as they please. I suspect sometimes when I'm walking in the street or in the car that other people get it in their head that they want to race me and are probably quite mentally pumped if they get from A to B before me, whereas I really couldn't care less either way, and that's even if I have been aware of any of it to begin with.

“Who got out first?” 0:56 - 1:05 Iconic. It’s too bad the rematch never happened, this was a great rivalry .
@Dave-sc5jm6 жыл бұрын
People might find this ridiculous but it isn't. Even if Wlad didn't realise how Fury was perceiving it, in Fury's mind he was in competition. So when Wlad got out first, Fury felt that boost, the small victory, that belief he's stronger. Most do it in some way or another and it's good to have that mental strength and determination. It added to his belief he'd break Wlad in the ring and look what happened.
@JJ-kl5xe6 жыл бұрын
great break down! Vlad almost looks embarrassed it's a very strange scenario, I just hope he comes back with this sort of determination and mental strength.
@Dave-sc5jm6 жыл бұрын
Ian Beale Thank you. It is a strange scenario and it seems clear Wlad is surprised by it but it probably gave Fury that edge. Like in the gym.. if on the treadmill next to another guy, I WILL NOT stop first but the reality is most are clueless to how I'm competing with them and this seems the same to me personally.
@Writeous0ne6 жыл бұрын
David Williams depends on a lot of things though. If you're on a treadmill next to another guy, he does 10k then gets off, it doesn't mean you beat him, it means he achieved what he wanted to and got off lol. Bit silly really. A competition is only a competition when both people involved are competing.
@Dave-sc5jm6 жыл бұрын
Writeous0ne That's my point. Did you read my comments? I've already said, whether they know or not, it's a mind thing. With me on the treadmill, I tell myself they're in competition with me in their mind. It's not planned it's just how I think and it means I'm always pushing myself. I relate to what Fury did here, because it's similar and his way to drive himself to do his best. It's a pride thing.
@Writeous0ne6 жыл бұрын
@david williams yeah but it doesn't mean anything to the other person.. to you you're pushing yourself, to them it's irrelevant. it's like people at the gym who look what you're lifting and try to lift more, ego lifting. theres a fine line between bravery and stupidity. fury crossed over to stupidity with this incident.
