The thing is, Nelson says that Fury is brilliant at mind game-defeating opponents before they get in the ring. I agree. So when that doesn't work he might feel quite scared of the unknown. He hasnt been able to get a grip on Usyk, and in fact I believe Usyk might turn the screw within the coming days and make Fury feel like the hunted. Usyk called himself "I am white rabbit", but his nickname has always been "the cat". The Lion is an apex predator. But you can also call it a cat.

I'm not convinced Fury can out box Usyk, the only boxer on Usyk level Fury faced was Klitschko who was most likily more declined than Usyk is at this stage and Fury was at his best and most certainly declined himself now. In that fight Fury couldn't land anything of note on Klitschko he missed alot and was very ineffective so I can't see him being any better than that vs Usyk at this stage, Klitschko was ineffective himself but he did actually land better punches than Fury did and was slightly more effective than Fury.

@@scottybottybanana Fury could hit hard and through pre Wilder 2 if watch back his fights, he spent time with Steward learning the Kronk style earlier in career, I believe Steward cornered him for 1 fight I forget which one now. He focused on that for Wilder rematch as learned in first fight he stiffened Wilders legs multiple times and could of followed with 2nd and 3rd phase attacks. Freddie Roach was in corner first fight and imploring Tyson to follow up attacks as believed he could knock Wilder out in that fight.

Klitschko wasn't on Usyk's level and he knew it. He sparred Usyk as preparation for the Fury fight, and Usyk gave him angles and footwork problems. Johnnt Nelson apparently saw it. So Wlad went into the Fury fight knowing movement was an achilles heel of his. Usyk also recently stated that he's been watching Fury with intent since he beat Wlad.

@@DirtyJamesUK Yes I agree, at that stage in Klitschko career atleast his timing had wained movers was an issue, even Jennings was a problem for him by moving, younger Klitschko was sharper though and dealt with movers very well. Still Fury couldn't hit Klitschko and lost the ring generalship, I have to think that Usyk vs that Klitschko would of soundly out boxed him.

Almost. Fury's skill level is widely recognised as top level, but I don't believe in the unbeatable man. Fury is a top level survivor, blag artist and conman and he's due his comeuppance. Ngannou very nearly gave it to him. Usyk is the perfect man for the job. Joshua would be trouble for Fury too. Surviving 12 against Joshua's power or Usyk's consistent pressure is not going to be easy. Even in his prime I think these 2 give him real problems.
