Love they (belatedly) brought out a rainscreen product. But seeing their Rep worrying about 'minimizing penetrations' to their next-to-worthless WRB while conspicuously ignoring the zillion nails/staples that are needed to secure lath over the rain screen for stucco installation was pretty funny. The good news is that rainscreen vastly minimizes the amount of water that gets to their shitty WRB. Honestly, if my budget didn't allow for a decent (non-Tyvek) WRB, so long as I was using a rainscreen, I'd forget Tyvek altogether and tape the seams/penetrations of the plywood (with a quality pressure-sensitive acrylic tape like Tescon Vana) and use good flashing details at windows and doors. If builders did that, quality of homes would dramatically improve for very little additional cost. How Tyvek is still used today without a rainscreen is mind-boggling
