I have never had a problem with AmiAmi. I think it's the best website to get anime stuff from because of how good the deals and quality of the pre-owned items are. I ordered a Madoka Goodsmile figure with a item A box C rating and the only thing wrong with the box was that one of the plastic windows was no longer fully attached in the right corner! Was perfect otherwise.

I was able to get a 1/7 scale hatsune miku for 17 dollars and I saw the same figure on amazon for 80 bucks! It really does save you a lot of money

My first pre-owned was bad, had speckles of mold on the plastic and box. I showed them and they wouldnt believe me at first but eventually a higher up took it back. Other times. boxes really mashed up or sometimes they are good. Its a gamble imo. but others had better luck

amiami is paid with japanese yen through your credit/debit card who will convert yen to usd at market value at time of purchase, usually with a small foreign transaction fee. no work is required on your end, you ultimately end up paying the amount in usd. TLDR: cc/dc pays amiami in jpy, cc/dc charges you the equivalent price in usd + a foreign transaction fee (fee is usually small and proportional to the amount spent. rates will depend on provider, so check with yours)

The pre owned figures need to be checked with a blacklight. The japanese usually leave bodily fluids on their figures. I can't do preowned.
