Incredibly talented lady. The moment I heard her sing the first lines of “Gales of Song” in the trailer, I did a double take. I wasn’t even interested in anime before “Belle”, I was reaching for the skip button, but her voice was so good, I broke what was for me an unbreakable rule. I watched the trailer, then bought the original Japanese soundtrack, then the English soundtrack when it was released, then the film. Whether she was singing, or voice acting, she captured the spirit of the character of Suzu. She did with that one role what some mainstream actors and singers spend an entire career trying to do. I genuinely hope I get to see her do some more work in that regard. She’s got the gift. Whatever she decides for herself is best, but, I really hope she doesn’t just fade into obscurity, I can’t think of a more undeserved fate.

The moment I watched belle I cried. Just seeing how relatable the characters are. But then I heard Belle sing. I was shivering, there was non-stop chills going down my spine, arms, legs, stomach, everywhere. Your voice is so amazing. Your music and voice will forever resonate with me. Thank you.
