This footage starts of politically, where the gentlemen discuss nuclear weapons, UN, criticism of Indian politics, the death of the middle class, Israel, Mandela, seats of power etc (this is from 1995 so keep that in mind). After that the discussion takes the path into our human nature, perception, value-systems etc. At the end U.G. gets calm and cozy with some great wisdom spoken. Enjoy!

Socrates is reported to have said "I know that I know nothing" - strikingly similar to U.G. as dismissing knowing as always coming from a cultural programming... so we have no real SELF knowledge, that is, one which really originates from ourselves.... The reason I am saying this in the context of this interview: it's amazing that even from such a humble starting point, U.G. is able to dismiss every specific and contrived particularity thrown at him about the reality of the world.... really something else....

The problem is UG only has observations and keep trying to point out the worst in everyone. And just like him, I also realize there is NO solution, but that this play will keep going on. What gives me courage and humility that there is NO savior God who can save us or correct this...I know I am part of this manifestation and can only try to be part of the problem as less as possible. One day I will surly stop asking questions or providing any solution. This Nature, this Maya consumes ALL - each and everyone. Soham.

Can anyone tell me what exactly he had said about humanity?
@pedjamigrant7189
@pedjamigrant7189 3 жыл бұрын
He said, that human inherit the knowledge and thought trough the totality of the mind. Totality of the mind being the overall amount of everything we perceive, say, think and do. We are unable to sepperate ourselves from this circuit that continues to keep it's status quo. He is in himself a great lover of life, which he considers it to be an extraordinary thing, and that human himself in his so called curse by the mind is flawed. U.G. being above the traditional function of the body and mind, became aware that the mind is not ours to distinguish, try to decipher or , keep track of , because every question we ask, we use this same tool, which U.G. rightfully believes can not solve problems, only create them "All the questions we ask, are born from the answers we already have ". Watching U.G. you need to understand, that he is cynic and lover of life at the same time, which might scare you if you are a believer. U.G. also, does not condemn anyone believing, rather says that it is close to impossible to delete your cultural and living experience in order to achieve higher self. All you could do with that, if you succeed is sing looney toons, and marry melodies and end up in loony bin. So , the most important aspect of U.G. statement is that it is extremely hard, to separate yourself from the mind. U.G. himself, is extremely versatile in separating himself from his thoughts and in that way, capable of deducting the very function of the mind itself. If I tell you do not imagine red elephant, you can not do anything other than imagine it at the very same moment. This way, U.G. always says, I have nothing to teach you. This way you keep listening him, because in the very word "teach" he uses this red elephant technique. In itself he does not say stop the war, but bring the peace. You cannot win someone to your point of view without any type of trade, physical or mental, but U.G teaches us to think and be present in life, stop using mind for thinking about future or the past, but the present and the reality of it. In his eyes, movement and gesticulation as well as speech you can feel the respect, and willfulness to share. Which are two of the primal ideas Native americans talk about. Hopefully I answered something if anything at all , but I thank you for being the channel of my inspiration. Cheers !

@@christopherjordan9707 In my experience it is a consequence of people simply not needing you for what you want to do, so you give up on trying in practice because there is no possible escape that you can imagine making. This man seems like he got trapped and then went on to have a very late puberty like rebellion. All the things that inspired me were continually dismissed until I confront people verbally directly about it, only then, in post, do they concede to having admired my inspirations all along. or worse they tell me they don't give a flying fuck about what I want to do with my life. So I'm stuck in netherlands now with corona and I feel it's too late to try and save myself because there is not enough care available, and after that I still need to flee my parents somehow. Any time I felt sudden incentive to do anything, I was disuased for it coming at the wrong time, to me it seems my mother wants me to do anything and everything she tells me to. For me the trap is that if I want help, I need to explain my plan first, which would make executing the plan impossible. So I am stuck without the ability to execute, because I lack the skills and vitality necesary. and the thinking that I could succeed at anything without explaining first or that it could ever be safer than just waiting for the death my parents decided for me. Because if I escape from them, it is all or nothing. I need to have everything prepared if I want to defy any of their wishes. Thats why I kind of hope to die here just to make them hurt for making me be this dependent. But really I feel guilty about dying without them having acces to my corpse. It feels that if I die here without any help atleast someone will care about my corpse, while if I try to save myself, I will be all alone lost in a scary forest in which I will be devoured anyway.

His blatant statement and discarding 'Compassion' has just no substance behind it...Just like any other man he has his shortcomings...But he is so true about most of the crap shitty people - politicians, scientists, psychologist etc...put out there for the gullible and bogus mass...and the cruel reality is MAss society is Unaware, but Not all...Hope he found his peace...and we Ours.
