this reminds me a little of the Greek Anaximander, 610 BCE, who said: "My people, I have some bad news and some good news for you. The bad news is that the world came into existence, it is a mistake, a demented evil. Everything was good when emptiness reigned. Then some evil accident occurred and the world separated from the void and came into being. There is no way out for us now. However, my people, I have some good news: the world will soon disappear and all will be well again."

Obviously you already have an answer for the very questions we ask are born out of the answers we already know, but I will just mumble for the sake of mumbling. Being "saved" the desire to become something other than what you are is what is creating the problems. Whether or not the world will become that what you call heaven or utopia or chaos and stress will dissipate might be redirected , that is perhaps you might wonder what would be if we allowed nature to be without a motive, an agenda, without imposing our ideas of peace on to it. Look into yourself and ask. What do you see peace or chaos if being saved is left out of the equation?

I would like to ask the people who are willing to answer. "In your terms, How would you describe the quality of the people like us?" Considering we are in the first few hundreds of people to watch this on KZbin. Why have you come to see this? Do you think what he has to say important? I would really like to talk to someone about this. I have a feeling that if more people could understand what he was saying the people of the world could perhaps make the choice for the world to be a better place. Would the viewers of this material tend to agree? I feel like I understand how some people could think there is no will and some people could think that there is will. Some say neither, some say both. Personally I love videos with him because listening to him makes me feel good about my belief that I do not need anything to be free, not even this belief, I am just glad to feel like I share it with you. Which is how it is for me. Freedom is not even a question. U.G. Knew there was freedom the same way he knew he was a man, he has said free will does not exist at all at times and I think that free will would not exist in thought how we know of it if we had it completely and totally. That's it isn't it, there is only about freedom. I have recently talked to people in my life mentioning the phrase "Freedom is free of the need to be free." It is nice and perhaps a bit uncanny to see it said here. I heard it originally from a Funkadelic song . I love that band. Thank you for reading.

There is one mistake U.G. makes which itself comes from an early 20th century paradigm. A linear system is one where the outputs change in a linear way relative to the inputs eg if the inputs double, the outputs change in a similar way such that if you plot them on a graph, there would be a straight line. Linear system: Inputs-->System proccesses-->Outputs For the unitary movement to generate predictable response from known current situation--- ie where the future depends only upon the past and the present ---the output of the system must have no feedback upon the system. For simple systems, this usually holds. Even for complex systems, it is often possible (within a small local state-space) to make linear predictions ---for instance 'Newton's law of gravitation is good for most terrestrial purposes. However, when you're trying to make predictions that go beyond a certain time or position in state-space, for complex systems, predictions become impossible. An example of this is predicting the orbit of Mercury or understanding why light is bent by galaxies. For understanding such complex systems as underpinning gravitation, a non-linear formulation---General relativity---was needed. This theory and its equations encapsulate something called feedback---the propensity of outputs of a system feeding back into the inputs---to either amplify the inputs or suppress them. Non-linear systems: Inputs/previous outputs-->System proccesess-->Outputs/new-system-inputs. Examples of non-linear systems include the human body (especially the neuronal systems giving rise to consciousness), the climate & weather, geological processes etc. The interesting thing about non-linear systems are as follows: 1) Internal system complexity controls how external input information is interpreted 2) The internal system models external realities in order to create a simplified model of reality for which decisions about what to do arise from internal processes---ie, the system is it's own council, separate from the outside world. 3) The emergent system outputs can and do influence their simpler internal underpinnings eg, the future feeds back upon the past, potentially changing the cognition underpinnings. 4) Simple components of a system can form unexpected relationships with one another leading to emergent outcomes which themselves can interrelate. This propensity prevents deterministic predictability. Instead, science can only model non-linear systems stochasically (using statistical mechanics, probability, etc) 5) Non-linear systems can lead to chaotic processes that follow the geometry of chaos---a fractal geometry. Non-linear systems are passive in the sense that they are still deterministic in underpinnings, but with unexpected outcomes due to higher order emergent relationships forming that cannot be modelled with current computers. It has even been argued that the universe itself is a non-linear computational system and that to deterministically encapsulate the universe in one theory would require a computer the size and power of the universe itself. Thus, even if the universe is superdeterministic, there is no way to predict very far into the future for any non-linear sub-system of the universe (eg the weather). As the mathematician Kurt Godel showed, no set of axioms can predict non-linear emergent relationships such that mathematical formation will never totally encapsulate the universe. As such, the notion that the universe is a unitary movement whilst true, it is unfortunately not adequate to suggest the future arises entirely from the past. Rather, the geometry of the universe itself generates unexpected relationships that give rise to changes that could not be predicted from the system components themselves. Non-linear systems are resilient to change and perturbation---to a degree. The mind can adapt to external perturbation and resist influences. This is why logical arguments fail to convince others---the internal mental perceptions rearrange any data inputs to suit its own structure. Only completely overwhelming change would change anybody's global-perception-matrix enough to lead to a re-arrangement. This level of change would likely lead to a total mental collapse and the breakdown resulting would be most discombobulating. However, after such a rearrangement, a new global perception matrix would arise. Thus, the mental state of UG ---which didn't really play a different tune throughout the post calamity period of his life---was merely a different non-linear structure, itself subject to the properties and propensities of complex systems. This is why he said that to his mind, three is no such thing as enlightenment---because his own mental perceptions had changed, but the processes of his consciousness were the same as everyone else's despite him believing a different set of ideas.

There are no mistakes. The unitary unfolding, regardless of whether it's linear or non linear, simply cannot make a 'mistake.' it's an imputation on our part to assume something is amiss. Nothing ever has been, nor will be.
@dougmarkham
@dougmarkham Жыл бұрын
@adamhiggins280 the unitary movement of the universe folds back upon itself---feedback. At any rate, UG's ideas on the unitary movement came from conversations he had with David Bohm, who described in detail his theory of the holomovement to UG (video on KZbin). Closed isolated systems come into being when open or closed unitary movement folds in upon itself to generate emergent order. Bohm described this as an implicate order (a genotype) that undergoes further evolution explicating layers of higher order emergence which give rise to an explicate order---a phenotype. It's a feature of the holomovement, not a mistake. Explicaye order then feedsback upon the system as a whole. The only way division and order can exist in a unitary movement is by auto-interactions leading to self-organisation. The folds generate secondary and tertiary interactions leading to emergent features and order built upon order. The holomovement is both divided and integrated in such a way that reductionism cannot predict its outcome but nonetheless, the emergent outcome is deterministic. Nobody said something was amiss. Merely that 20th century reductionism cannot describe the universe; whereas, exploring self-organising non-linear dynamics can model consciousness and the physics of the universe. The content of consciousness and the universe aside, the universe and biological systems fundamentally arise out of secondary, tertiary, quaternary etc interactions which are not consequent of the simple characteristics of the system components but rather, the resulting ecology of the system that arises and its topology/geometry.

@@JDZulu Well, what I've discussed is a brief precis of complexity theory. There are lots of topics and sub-topics which come with tonnes of jargon that takes a bit of reading to get your head around. There are lots of resources on KZbin looking at Non-linear systems. One of the best resources for beginning is this playlist: The main set of playlists: www.youtube.com/@SystemsInnovationNetwork/playlists The best starter playlist on non-linear systems: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bWaZgaWmbbl7n68si=PZqhWj5ixEK-dlmI Comlex adaptive systems: kzbin.info/aero/PLsJWgOB5mIMCiKZu61rKFT_-TncWzylN8 However, there is also a great ebook review on self-organising systems here: issuu.com/gfbertini/docs/self-organizing_systems_-_frequently_asked_questio This is some review and is best read after having a good background in non-linear systems. Cybernetics as a topic can be read about here: archive.org/details/B-001-024-522-ALL/page/n5/mode/2up?view=theater Emergence vs Self-organisation: www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3181524/pdf/cib0404_0469.pdf Other topics needed include: 1) Cellular automaton 2) Autopoesis 3) Evolutionary computation 4) Random boolean networks 5) Extropy & Stigmergy I won't lie, it's taking me a long time to get my head around it, and I'm still working on it. However, I believe that complexity theory is the future from a scientific point of view. Understanding consciousness will no doubt utilise complexity theory. Another more digestible book (written in the 1960's) is Mechanism of the Mind (Edward De Bono). It's a fairly jargon free book that uses analogies to put across some of the concepts of self-organisation. An old book, but it gives laymen a taste of what self-organisation might have to do with thinking and consciouness.

@@dougmarkham Bohmian mechanics, apart from not making sense relativistically, has the same problem as all interpretations of quantum mechanics, namely that it can't explain the interconversion between mass and radiation unitarily. In fact, the mass of a particle (fermion) enters the theory as an adjustable parameter. Ughh! To do better, one needs to work with mass density, which requires a superdeterministic theory, i.e. where the (stupid) statistical independence assumption is dropped. This allows for local realism. Ironically, when going beyond Bohm's paradigm in this way one actually returns to the old paradigm of the 1800s, and to linear equations. Therefore, it's incorrect of you to say that Bohm's paradigm is superior to U.G.'s. The best superdeterministic theory is the extended Maxwell's equations developed by John G. Williamson. He has videos here on yt. Essentially, the issue in modern physics is the assumption of point particles, just like U.G. has pointed out. If this assumption is dropped and internal structure is allowed for, there is generally a statistical dependence between the "particles" (the observer and the observed) before a measurement, because both their internal dynamical variables carry memory effects from a past encounter. Bell's non-local interpretation is thus just alot of nonsense. Sorry mate. My essential point is that U.G. is absolutely correct. In John's theory, just like radiation energy density is the sum of the squares of the electric and magnetic fields, the mass energy density is the sum of the squares of the additional fields in the theory. Radiation and mass enter on the same footing. This reminds me of when U.G. pointed out that light and sound are interchangeable and that matter is sound (thought is matter and thought is sound -> matter is sound). This is precisely what John's theory states with equations. Even Dirac would be jealous of this theory.

I can get the same feeling sometimes when listening to philosophy like such. If nothing's real and even if there is reality, it's a futile thing for humans to grasp, what's the point, right? Maybe there is none and that is the point. Or maybe not. I don't think I will ever know, or want that security.

It doesn't matter how rich or poor you're. Unless everyday you return back to your natural state of nobody ness in your state of deep dreamless restful Sleep. You can't function with yoour mundane normality of I'm ness. In sleep you're nobody and nothing. Everyday you renounce. For before you're going into yyystate of sleep You'll have to renounce the entire Universe and everything that's within this Universe including all thoughts of your emotions feelings love hate etc etc.. When you renounce everything simultaneously you also renounce your I'm ness and yourself in its wholesome totality. Then in any way you're no different than someone like UG... Everything else is nothing but your own assumption of your imagination.. 😂,🤣😜😂🤗😘❤️👍🙏😝
