It's a boxing game as he says. And one reason I like him so much is that he has shown us how to live while also eradicating illusions. I think many of us have had one or more precious illusions destroyed on us and this has sent us into shock. That's me anyway. UG is like medicine for the mind. He is like an ointment that reduces the swelling and the inflammation and gives the organ time to recover.

I live in Fairfield, Iowa - home of the Maharishi University of Management. The TMers here, when listening to U.G. (the few times I've been able to get them to listen) - hear it almost as if its a blind spot. They don't know what to say or how to react. It goes against everything they were indoctrinated with. Because they only know about "getting there", or transcending. A dangling carrot. When told that the actual Reaching is what is causing the problems, they look at you like you're from another planet. And of course TM costs $4,000 these days. These last 10 years in Fairfield have been an amazing study on Loops masquerading around as enlightenment. All the while, there is no such thing. They show up at the domes here like drug addicts needing their daily fix. After-all, medication and meditation is only one letter away.

all of the people understand these statement based on their self or center so it is temporary and fades away. Once there is no center, You dont need any statement of anyone or anybody including UG himself because it is so so little or no value . Once You realize this, You dont like talking about all these stuffs because it has no value meaning these statement are no valueable than noise from the machine, if you are listening without the center. So he gets so irritated when people want to understand it because no understanding is required to be free of self only complete negatation of memory. But to be in this state, there is no other way than listening without center and you dont know it.

This is not to help anyone understand but one way to look at it is - if you eat healthy, meditate etc because of fear, then your motivation is wrong and it won't do any good. There are many people who obsess with what they perceive to be healthy and thus suffer from it. While someone might smoke every day and be super cool and easy in the mind. Also, if you look at people who've survived war, what they ate, what their children ate etc - they still grew up healthy after the war, became smart and athletic. U.G. is pointing out how our body is inherently strong and "smart". Too many people eat with their mind, go to meditation courses with pre-conceptions of how that might solve their problems etc - all from the fake source-motivation. Why are you doing what you do, is a good question. Even Alan Watts talked about meditation being a competition in suffering =)) Take it easy and hope you enjoy the content.
