99.999 % of world population cannot understand UG . The rejection of all world philosophies and religion by UG is revolutionary. My so called spiritual experiences is same as UG in terms of understanding the essence of life . My initial reaction to my spiritual experiences is that it had kept me out from God and Rebirth. My mind was relieved . But small doubt persisted for 4-5 months - read Buddhist philosophy - which didn't clear my doubts as its diversified branches is similar to Hindu thought. Thanks UG . You had lot trouble in convincing others . But for me your one video was enough. Some your videos , we can see agresion - but it is to emphasis point . But there would be memory. Therefore I don't think he is quite saying that. My take, and here we go, is that he is really saying nothing at all. You have one experience. I have another. That's all we can really say. I've had incredible dreams that came true. Heard voices that led me to incredible situations. But all for what? From where? For what purpose? I well and truly cannot say. And when I tell others of these experiences they seem uninterested most of the time. So I think about his "calamity". We really have no idea what happened. He can't even really explain it himself. Like with my dreams. I don't think I did anything to have them. They just happened. But they don't prove anything. I thought they did, but I see now I was deluded. Reading into them more than was warranted. And I think UG ended up feeling similarly.

He condemn Jesus, Buddha and other saints. But his motive should be understood by me as belows. J krishnamurti and Ug both were liberated beings no doubt about it. It's the JK who started his philosophy of truth as pathless land. And why he started is very interesting. After he liberated, he thinks, all the hovocs around the world by claimant of saint or saviour or false gurus, who started deluding people's with their intention is personal gain. These guru started sanyasa by outward robes, yogi who immersed in meditation and told the other people without realizing the truth of liberation. J krishmurti got very angry and taken a sword against them. That's why his teaching he said no teacher, no authority. But he does believe in sharing with others to cross over. But while saying truth is pathless land, his saying also a kind of path. So ultimately path is there and is bound to be there for bound men to get free. One cannot deny that. UG walking into the step of J Krishnamuryi stepped further, to disregard the path and truth altogether. But at least he was honest saying that he brought into natural state by some unknown lightening of wisdom. Verily although denying the path and truth he called in unknown striking and natural state. That natural state is freedom from suffering and the path is of virtue and wisdom. Buddha called it Eightfold path or path of purity and Jesus called it faith towards the Father in heaven which is rightousness.They are the true leaders of the masses. But I don't hate UG and JK as both were liberated beings, has motive to free people from blind gurus, from soul, from their so called God. One can say they are actually told the wisdom. Because wisdom is like it no soul, no I, no God. Both are now freed and now it's our responsibility to free ourselves.

Buddha means fully awake. He not only see the emptiness of things. He not only see that past, present and future cannot be separated. He also see the 4 Noble Truth at play, and understand that he is already out from the cycle of samsara. UG also out from this cycle but thrown out without knowing the 4 Noble Truth at play. So UG is just awake, not fully yet.

@Nathulal Dubey : Quite so. I use liberated beings synonym to the free men. As far as UG's case, 'He didn't know what he lands onto!'. He once said, 'In that vision something is aware of something else'. What a fool if the truth is being stands before your eyes, you see it not. He says, it is unknowable. But, the Buddha's and many saints says, close your eye on that place and see the real. They know truth as it is. The 4 noble truth. What stooped you when truth appears before the man he see it not? Ego. See the case of Ug.

Not really. Thinking is ego. When you are busy thinking, you miss the fact that you are! When you are not thinking, you can be! Now is all there is. No past, no future, just now! Now is all there is...
@robinpayneguitar8 жыл бұрын
Gordon Mitchell "Now" isn't a thought? If you don't think, are you there? That was UG's response to Descartes' infamous axiom. And it's a question worth meditating on. If there is no thought then there is no experience. Therefore one cannot experience the "now" without the ego, assuming ego and thought are synonymous as you suggested. If there is an experience then there is ego there. There is an experiencer. You are telling me to exist in something without experiencing it. Temporarily disregarding the fact that the "something" in question (the now) is itself just a thought, how do I do that? More importantly why would I? To stop thinking altogether is to cease to be. Woosh, the fire blows out. Nothing. No mind. Not an experience of no mind, there can be no such thing. It's a lie. "When you are busy thinking, you miss the fact that you are" The fact that you are can be translated to the knowledge that you are, which can be translated to the THOUGHT that you are, which is what being is. It is thought. So if ego and thought are synonymous, then ego and being are synonymous. Being implies non-being just as self implies other.
@gordonmitchell7298 жыл бұрын
When you are not aware of the 'thinking', awareness of the 'now' becomes reality, and although not a thought, you are! You don't cease to be. You transcend into awareness of self. The inner self, the source of self, and the oneness of the self is all that there is. That oneness is with the whole that there is. If you say 'I think therefore I am' you are saying that without thought you can not be. But if you say (as I did) that 'I am therefore I think', you are then awareness 'all that there is' and the mind 'ego', the wanting thoughts, the striving thoughts, the 'I am happy or unhappy' thoughts that fill our minds, hide the 'now' from you, and you then rely on whatever you think to function. If you are aware of the 'now' you are! and therefore can chose to think, and be as awake to all that exists, the now! There is is no time. All is now. Time is an ego invention, that allows for control by those who benefit from it.
@robinpayneguitar8 жыл бұрын
Gordon Mitchell You're still promoting an experience, while at the same time demonizing the experiential structure (mind) by equating it with ego. How can there be awareness without thought? Awareness is an experience. There is no such thing as thoughtless experience. The thought of the experiencer must be present. Do this, don't do that, be aware of this, lose your awareness of that...and you will transcend into a higher state of awareness....big deal! The desire to evolve spiritually is a rejection of your current state of being! Even the desire for peace of mind precludes your mind from being at peace in this moment, because it defines your current state as being not at peace. I can't stand it when people refer to the fundamental "self" as such. Higher self, inner self, divine self....that is simply and blatantly a projection of egoic attributes onto the pure thoughtless life force that flows through all of us. "You", that is, the thinker/experiencer, do not beat your heart, and to refer to the force that does as your true "self" is an egoic perversion of a divine phenomenon. There's nothing "selfish" about the fundamental energetic essence of life. UG sometimes insists that no such essence exists. He is playing with words. This light that I am speaking of is real, and you can see it during meditation. It is the soul, and it is all one. Sole soul. Both of these words are derived from the latin "sol" meaning light. Fundamentally all is one, it's true, but this oneness cannot experience (or be aware of) itself, because it is thoughtless and timeless. This is not to say you can't have an earth-shattering experience of boundary dissolution in which you feel your implicit connection to everything, but this is still a thought-induced experience. It's beautiful, but as it comes so does it go. And the higher you get, the harder you fall. You may as well take LSD and save yourself all the hassle if that's all you're after. All these stories of holy men do nothing but piss me off. If there are yogis who have achieved states of perpetual orgasm, or acquired the power to materialize things out of thin air (such as Sai Baba shooting flowers out of his palms into the crowd), then why aren't these benevolent sorcerers conjuring up plates of food for the thousands of starving children in the third world country they're living in? A spiritual state that involves perpetual sexual orgasm? Are you f*cking kidding me? How SELF indulgent can it get? UG has a chip on his shoulder for good reason.
