Spicer for sure, greaseable if you're going to grease them. Most people don't

I run non-greasable in my trail rig. I still run on road too but probably only put 5000 or less miles a year on it. I want the strength baby!

I personally want feasible. Which is greasable. Sadly factory is usually sealed.

I would think greasable would be technically better. If you get into water or wet mud, just squirt some more grease in them to push any water out of the joint.

Your going to break a lot of stuff before you ever break a greaseable u-joint.

Maintaining my rigs, always under the vehicle inspecting and see those ungreaseable u joints. I just keep wiggling them every pm until I feel play. Peace of mind if they were greaseable.

Non greaseable Spicers. But axle shaft greasable since they're RCVs.

I always use non greasable. Stronger and 3 seals I stead of 1. That's why they last so long.

I'm just glad the tj didn't go off roading with those worn out u joints. Definitely would have broken an axle if you didn't say anything.

Hi there nice info! I'm searching for u-joint, as in driveline, comparisons. Do you know anyone who has compared wear, load abilities, and resistance to operational grime with OEM new u-joints and a few popular aftermarket brands too? Like Moog to Spicer to Toyota to GM, etc. I am especially interested in tests between the same size of competitive brands of both sealed and re-greaseable universal joints. Thanks!

physics says pass through should be stronger just like a hollow pipe is stronger then one not hollow
@alexkram7 ай бұрын
physics absolutely does not say that. What would crush easier, an empty coke can or one that was made from solid aluminum?
