Please listen to the new tracey brakes album, "my twee monsters", it shares the hyperpop texture with 100 gecs but is really emotional and has beautiful lyrics and themes. It's so cohesive in the world it creates with sounds and feels far far ahead of its time and is so enjoyable all the way through if you like the hyperpop/digicore sound

I love 100 gecs I used to listen to them at the starbucks I used to work at before I opened. I would play it so loud the windows would shake and it felt so good even though it was 4 in the morning

Brat itself is not really hyperpop at all, it's really an homage to that Y2K dance-pop/club era musical feel, but still cool that Charli led you into it; 100 Gecs is definitely an acquired taste, I fw some songs and not others, but they really scratch that brain itch. Good poignant commentary overall as well I saw 100 Gecs live once and they were really fun honestly, just chill musicians who are just having fun with it. Doritos and Fritos, hand crushed by a mallet, mememe, their popular singles are really great, but then even some deeper cuts or underrated ones like xXXi_wud_nvrstøp_ÜXXx, bloodstains, 757, or Haunted (not a "deep cut" by any means though lol) by Laura Les (half of the gecs duo), just truly create that satisfying brainworm for me

hello there! thanks for watchin!! is the rest of charli's discography considered hyperpop, you think? i LOVE how i'm feeling now!! also, wow that's so neat, i'm so jelly that you got to see gecs live! i definitely want to next time they're touring. they just seem real asf and like they're having fun -- which honestly seems a bit rare these days? at least with all the recent shows i've been to!
