"U.N. Owen Was Hero?" By Toby Fox & ZUN On Drums!

For anyone who doesn't know the story of this track in specific it's kind of wild: Toby was approached to do a remix for the fan-game this is going to be in, Touhou Danmaku Kagura Phantasia Lost, but he was having a bit of trouble with nailing down the touhou style with his track. So, he went to the dev team and went "hey, I need a little help, can you guys find someone I can collab with so I can make sure I get this right?" (which makes sense when you think about it considering just how many different touhou remixes are ending up in this game, both old and new tracks alike, so of course the devs are in at least a little contact with a lot of people) The devs got back with him pretty quick, and who did they get for this collaboration but ZUN Himself And then the way they did this song was that Toby decided to remix U.N. Owen Was Her?, and ZUN decided to remix Battle Against A True Hero, and then they mashed-up those remixes into this! And of course it sounds absolutely stunning What a moment for Toby

Certainly one of the best collab/remix ever! It pretty much captures all that is good and unique between ZUN and Toby’s styles in there. Toby must have been super thrilled, too, for a collab with ZUN himself! Also, for those who don’t know. This is from an upcoming Touhou rhythm game that will be released on steam and Nintendo Switch. It was originally on the mobile but got shut down, probably because the game was too skill-based that players don’t feel the need to pay to win like most mobile games (it has gacha for cards that can help boost scores or simply allows for more mistakes so you can survive through the whole songs and such). So, due to popular demand, it was revived on Steam and Switch and will probably make money through selling music packs rather than the card gacha.

Speaking of how it shut down, it makes you wonder how games like Bang Dream! manage to stay afloat I would assume Touhou would have an edge due to having an existing loyal fanbase that also already has a LOT of rhythm game players, but it just didn't cut it Just wanted to ponder that thought

@@PneumaAsh My personal opinion is that Dangaku was simply 'too generous' with the players.😂 Like I've mentioned, the game can be played just fine through sheer skills, rendering optional helps through gacha meaningless (outside of collecting really nice character cards). Freebies were also aplenty, I was given so much to pull for gacha and the pull rate was pretty good. I was able to get every cards I wanted in each campaign. There's probably more to the reasons, but that's just my general takes on it. Sad to see it went away but super happy to see it back this way! Though, I wish the save could have been transferred from the mobile version somehow LOL, I wanted all the rare cards I managed to pull!
