I was the SP/IE in a battalion at Bragg, and when I set up a PC board it was met with a lot of pushback from higher. I was told “That not what we’ve been doing”. Glad to see it’s finally taking hold.

I think I made PIC in 1983 at 350 hours.

I did as well. In 1982 Korea, it was experience but mostly PIC came out of necessity. The fast DEROS of pilots required a great deal of trust in the new PICs

NG hours is how many hours you have under night vision. It’s also know as ND time or night aided time.
