I served in Berlin in 1980-1985 it was an honor to serve with the best they were well trained and motivated of course by then the German police handled any civilian protest and the MP's at check point Charlie wore Class A uniforms instead of battle dress though they were still armed and escapes or crossings still happened😂😂😂😂😂

LT. Bainbridge was my platoon leader in Company A, 3rd battle Group 6th Infantry..He was a great platoon leader and a very good soldier. West Point Graduate.
