I kid you not, Grampa Munster (Al Lewis) lived on that same street in real life, too. Smack Dab in the Middle as Ray Charles sang. West beyond our school, that street ends at Jay Leno's Garage. Bring all his classics together. Unite Hotwheels' Splittin' Image and Grampa Munster's Dragula in the Elementary mind of all John Connors. All the classics united. "So let it be written. I give Arnold a lot of credit for fulfilling his dreams in three very different fields. I cannot think of anyone who has succeeded the way he has. However, he is not an "all knowing / all seeing" person. He has blind spots as do we all. And - when it comes to discussing Republicans and Democrats, his blind spot is HUGE: He does not appear to see that the GOP realized some time ago that it's agenda is no longer popular enough to win elections. So, instead of concentrating on winning votes with its ideas, it has focused on limiting who can vote so that - even though its ideas are supported by a minority of voters - it can still win. The strategy of "minority rule" extends to denying that it has lost (see: Trump 2020, which I'm shocked was not talked about in a "denying it lost" context instead of being compared to the night when synagogues were burned in Germany) and to the MAGA Republicans taking over the leadership of the House by was of intimidation (including that the MAGA voters will support a primary challenge to any sitting House or Senate member. Arnold should have been asked about Mitt Romney (who is a lot like Reagan in his beliefs and has now written a book that is very critical of the MAGA take over of the GOP). But NBC decided not to do so. So, this interview involved Arnold saying "both sides need to come together" as if it's still "Democrats and Republicans". It is not! We now have "democracy vs authoritarianism". THAT is the story. And NBC failed to ask Arnold about how the GOP has chosen authoritarianism over democracy. Think I'm crazy? Check out the work of historian Heather Cox Richardson.

MUCH respect for Mr, Schwarzenegger, but I don't think his "just bring everyone together" solution is sufficient. I see an extremist portion of the GOP that has a primary mission to divide and defeat any policies or politicians on Left, I could be mistaken, but it appears analogus to Hamas in that it's a group without rules in which cooperation is the enemy. When you have a faction with that agenda, you will never find middle ground, Until such entities are dissolved, there can be no significant cooperative effort.

What an absolute Gentleman...There should be an amendment to the constitution regarding qualification for president, i.e. having to be born in America. I think the bar should be high, but exceptions should be made. For example, imagine if a couple went away on vacation who were Americans and the female gave birth whilst on vacation in England, or any other country, then their child would never qualify to become president. That's a ridiculous rule in this case. In Arnold's case, he has been resident and a naturalised citizen for decades and has obviously held office as governor of California, and has proved his loyalty and integrity to the United States of America. In such a case, there should be an exception. Cenk Uyger pointed out a loophole last week regarding this rule, and he ran it by Bernie Sanders, who agreed that his point had merit, and he was talking about taking it to the Supreme Court....
