you are vastly mistaken on mindinao. its not muslim. its a safe place. a few bad stories spawned many rumors. im american and lived in province mindinao for many years. completely safe and nice people. the only "standard of living" is in the 3 main cities. everything else is rural or provincal life. its like 1985 but with cell phones. what they need to invest in is education and infrastructure. the education system at "high schoo grad" level is about 6th grade US. geography, politics, english, and history arent taught at all. they learn english from tiktok and are addicted to facebook. laws are mere recomendations as there is no one to enforce them. btw i live here and have a long trem girlfriend.
