This is a practice performance before they hit the road and perform for civilians. It's meant to season the new members of the team.

When did they show children how to play with firearms? These guys are trained, (well not up to my standards). I grew up with firearms and was treated to respect them as a tool and not a weapon. Of course when you grow up on a farm you realize that some animals take food that you grow and they have be eliminated, so you can feed others. But the result is an animal dies so a human being lives.

Drill master WAY overthrew it on tha tmiss.
@gratefulaya1923 жыл бұрын
is there a reason that the 2 guys took their bayonets off when the drill master was tossed the rifle? if so why? Also why did the one marine bring his rifle out when the marine missed the catch fro being tossed to high?
@007twoface Жыл бұрын
During these parts of the routine the moves are increasingly difficult and close, so the bayonets are removed for safety purposes as they are real and very sharpe. During these routines everything is timed out to happen after certain moves are performed. They are the silent drill team so there are no audible queues from the platoon leader. The Marine towards the end begins his individual movements as the throw is executed on the other end. The timing was thrown off by the arrant throw of the rifle.

I’m not sure about this performance but ordinarily no they are supposed to catch it. The woods stocks do break pretty easy. Either at the neck of the stalk or the thin area where the trigger housing is.

@arkra129 жыл бұрын
+Håvard Kveum Morken I can give you a real reason. Although I will admit HMKG is highly precise for a non-US team, they lack difficulty. All of their movements are very easy to the average Drill team member, and could easily be replicated. The hardest move I saw was a two man over head pass, which is far surpassed by both the Army and Air Force drill teams. The only other spins were single Aerials and one hand continuous, basic moves any beginner learns in a JROTC drill team. Sorry to tell you, sir, that although they are precise, they do movements which are too easy compared to those of the Marines, Army, Navy, Air Force, and even the Coast Guard. Your move sir :^)

+Tomm Smith , Try this line on any enemy fighter that is hell bent on killing you and just not happen to be a believer in the Christian faith. Now it may just be me although somehow I don't think it's going to make much of an impression to him. So before you preach to a Marine or any vet let's see how many of them you can convert before we get there. Before you preach to us put your life on the line and let's see how you fair. I wish you well in that endeavor sir.
@bityote9 жыл бұрын
+Bill Neice I would without doubt. Look at the two Angels in Genesis with Lot's Household (Genesis 19), God rebuked the wickedness of Sodom and Gomorrah by the blessed hands of His servants. Though I also see alternative situations within the Bible, that are not as glamorous or glorified as this. At the end of the day, war and battle comes down to the point of; is God for or against your cause? This on a microfied level (personal level) is the delegation of His specific purpose in lives, in correspondance to His larger over all purpose. Where He can favor a nation, but still will death for specific individuals, or despise a nation and still will life for specific individuals, is to the gain of His purpose. Though we are taught peace, as a King and authority over the Land the people don't hold, He ultimately does what is most beneficial to His people. Also, I note upon your warriors mentality, I don't argue nor seek to rebuke this. I thank you for your service, and hope mine is as well served. I hold the same myself. As it is said, there is a time and a place for everything under the sun; as king David (when he was younger) dominated Goliath with a stone, may our soldiers dominate kingdoms. I relate in the point of an E-tool in the back of ISIS, and completely anhilating the ignorance of violence and terror off the face of the Earth. I however see this as being an aspect of war that is to be associated with ones armor and weapon. I simply also see where one should do some spiritual pursuit and seeking in wisdom before and after war, to ensure ones self and integrity is maintained. Trusting that through war, God carries ones step and guides ones hand. In short, though my current battles are of a metaphysical sort, I battle them differently. I hold strongly within my being and character a "hatred" and anger against these people that is culminated at agressive step in war against their lives. In short, I "smile" at the notion of a 30mm destroying small points of manifestation of their deception. I hope to have cleared up some points of your first hand perception of me, my beliefs, and my attempts at cleanly expressing what Isought to share. God bless sir.
