My parents took me and my two brothers to see them once when I was about ten years old. I'm now 62. It was fantastic and a trip I'll not forget. Thanks to the Blue Angels and to my Mom and Dad. I want to see them live once more before I go home to Heaven.

I flew A4 Skyhawks with the Marine Corps during the Vietnam war. That is the aircraft the Blue Angels flew before switching to the F18's. We loved doing close formation flying. You are right, it never gets old! 73, AA4EZ

Wow, good job my friend!! You did a great job recording that!! I was at the northwest end of one of the runways standing against the fence. When they lined up and took off it was like someone was beatin my chest, Holy Mackerel was it loud!!! I had a great time and cant wait for them to come again even though it will be two years away!! Again great job you did!!

I have been to Oceana in Norfolk for an air show. I recall a B-1 Lancer pass at 500 ft & 500 knots. That’ll shiver your timbers!

U miss out on their other impressive parts 2 their show by not paying 2 get up close 2 see their preflight & post flight instruction given by their Maintenance Crew. This group of pilots don't wear G-suits. Just knowing that, u should b supporting what they do, pay 2 get inside, & up close. It's worth it.

Ok, so let me explain this in more detail. I have paid to get in the run way before, AND the fire department this year was renting my RV and I could have bought tickets right away and got in front and center, however, I do not have time. My wife didn't get time to go with me either. My goal was to make a video for those who wanted to watch who are nowhere near the air show. And then, it took me 3 hours to edit, produce and upload this video to KZbin. I'm sorry you don't think I wanted to support them And that I was being cheap. You should show up at the vacant parking lots next air show and tell the elderly folks who have more money than God, showing up in their BMWs and parking in the SHADE and complaining that I'm standing on my truck with a video camera making a video to stop being cheap and support the airmen. They are retired and have all the time in the world. I only had this weekend away from work to make the time to get down there myself and make a video so my wife could at least see some of it. I stood in direct sunlight sweating my ass off to make this, so I at least hope you enjoyed my efforts. Take care
