I bougth this CD's in Barcelona when I was only 14 years old. I was to young to be in ZooTV concert and I dreamed thounsend times me playng the guitart as The Edge listening this demos songs and Atchung Baby.

I wish Sick For Love was actually on the otherwise brilliant Acting Baby. It's beautiful and haunting musically and lyrically and great vocal by Bono. Also love Adam's deep, booming bass.

Yeah, ' wake up' has an almost pretty melody before it morphed into the dirty and grungy 'the Fly'.

To a degree. I do believe So Cruel was a bit better and more nuanced in the earlier version heard here. Also, Wake Up With A Spinning Head was divided into 3 songs, but imagine the amazing changes that could have taken place if it was kept as one stupendously produced piece of art, rather than three songs. Where you see contribution, I see lost possibility to a degree. Maybe in a parallel universe we'd both agree one side or the other.

So ultraviolet and the fly was one song. I also heard that One came from an alternative chord progression for mysterious ways

It ended up being released as a B-side, Lady With The Spinning Head (UV1) with that addition pointing to the fact that it was the 'original' Ultraviolet. For fun I once mixed parts of all 3 songs onto the backing track of the Berlin demo

The master tapes were stolen from Berlin and this is what your hearing. I have the whole tape of this and its even better because all the band members are taking while jamming... thank god the tapes were stolen because U2 made a legendary album that can be brought out now because of Edges guitar sound... an album very dear to us all....

@@JMG72ARG There is a 7cd version that's also online. Cd's 4-7 don't have a lot of interesting stuff (mostly drum loops) except some bits of Tryin To Throw Your Arms Around The World weaved together in 1 track

I have no idea, but Hard Rock Cafe from Panama has closed its doors the past week or so, and they had the U2 Achtung Baby Car, at the lobby of the Hotel and Cafe, they were taking all the memorabilia out. Maybe you can take a pick by guessing with them. Good luck!
