Religious meaning defo... it goes "full biblical" in the verse preceding the final chorus :) only the opening verse is vaguely about love. Funny but when I discovered that song (2005), I was 17 years old; one of the literature textbooks we were studying at the time was also about discovering faith and accepting it into your life.

The religious impulse and the sex drive are as one so this song is a bunch of faith swimming through a sea of sacred semen. Similar to that Charlie Daniels song 'The Devil Went Down TO Georgia' when the satanists remixed it as 'The Devil Went Down ON Georgia. Sex is the very hallmark of the struggle between good and bad. It seems bad people are prone to good sex while the good end up with a grope at a dark underbelly. Sweet Jesus, haven't we all been there.

Malcolm: Actually the video is a faithful edit of the original video (vmix). Unfortunately blocked by KZbin. So the crappy rotating lines were added to allow it to upload.
