Well, let's see this from 2 different perspectives: one is that he honors and acknowledges fans who are actually THERE. Brigitte has been attending dozens of shows around the world, just like Mark or Marco (the Devil in disguise)... or myself. As Bono sings right there "she's tyring to throw her arms around the world" maybe by being there with them all around the world. On another angle, it's true that he could be more rock and roll and pick other people.

Love seeing all the sphere clips but gotta say I wish he'd permanently ditch the 60's counterculture style round lens shades and choose a different style. I don't think it's a good look for him (only certain face types imo). I'd also go with shorter hair too. The thinner it gets the shorter it needs to be. Normally I don't give a crap how any star dresses but when it's your favorite band it changes things. Edit: just to be clear, I know why he wears shades and I'm not suggesting he shouldn't, just a different style of sunglasses.

I think they are referring to the crew being the same on every tour. AJ Rankin is Bono’s cousin and personal assistant since the 80’s. AJ always scouts people in the audience, picks one and brings them up. It’s a different person every night except a few times they filmed concert videos where the person was prepped. Usually they do a variety of rotating things, like inviting them to play guitar or piano. Usually it’s a girl for dancing with Bono and a boy for playing instruments. In this show they are doing this balloon thing every night because this show is less spontaneous due to the visual components

the problem is not related to france, its brigitte, she really loves the band and spend eveything she have in it, like a few fans. The band seems to reward this investment.undersandable but not very spontanious...
