U2 & Robbie Robertson- Sweet Fire of Love (Official-Unofficial) Music Video

Sorry it's been so long since I've uploaded a video everybody... I had one video I was working on for many months that I accidentally deleted, which led to me temporarily giving up on making videos. But today inspiration struck, and I put this together. I have a much bigger video idea in the works at the moment, but in the meantime I give you all this, and HOPE YOU ALL LIKE IT! :D

This was (IMO) THE BEST solo album from the 80's. Pairing U2 w/Robertson was sheer brilliance and the music is SO damned passionate and energized w/soulful rockin' tribal grooves like this song. As good as music rock gets....d'drumma

No buddy. It wasn't the time. Because this album is timeless. Robertson and U2 were a great combination. There is at least 5 all time great songs on this. Fallen Angel with Peter Gabriel is so beautiful.

I’ve played this song on my radio show Deer Tracks countless times in over 20 years on the air. Bad ass is an understatement about this song. The lyrics are compelling, the imagery striking. Irish backup band and one of the greatest Native musicians of all time. Mohawk no less. Robbie Robertson has left a mighty legacy. Aho Red Boy!

I have had this album since its release. I remember seeing the Scorsese movie on the Band .. I'm not a fan of Dylan and that type of music, and yet robbie and his albums and film scores. vs. is with great pleasure that I listen to again and again….

I think this may the best album of the whole decade, for me it's a toss up between this album, Paul Simon's Graceland, and Peter Gabriel's So. It isn't lost on me that all three of those albums were from sixties artists during the 80's.

This is typical U2 late-1980's. The Edge's guitar has the delay effect and every note sounds three or four times. This is particularly evident at the start of the song.

I love U2 but I think this track spoils the whole vibe Robbie has on its superb album. Thing is Bono almost screams here and Robbie's voice is almost inaudible. This might as well have been another track on Joshua Tree B singles.
