David David. Seems like you have some religious based hatred to work through. It's precisely morons like you which vindicate my decision at age 11, in 1966, to give up on organized religion. People like you give it a bad name. Now lighten up, get some wine and cheese, and loosen up. You will enjoy life more.

+Guilherme Lanna so true, in other words, they're too busy lookin at the forest to see the trees, that's because technology has fucked everything up so much, there's no appreciating anything anymore, technology outweighs everything-intimacy, etc. so now you can't enjoy something-anything on any kind of intimate level like you used to because there's so many tech distractions every fucking where! it's fucking ridiculous and I hate it!
@gergemini29938 жыл бұрын
+David David I agree to a certain extent! I love technology and how it enhances our life.... but it's social media I hate! I can't stand it because its like 1984...all the sheep connected 24/7 and it's a dream come true for surveillance agency's! its ironic how the virtual world has become more real than the real world to these people.... sad really! Saw them 5 times that summer in 1987. Not this one but in Holland twice, Brussels, Cologne and their last European show in Cork in August on Edge's birthday. Looking back, I personally prefer their Unforgettable Fire tour and perhaps as a live show ZooTV was their pinacle moment, but as far as crowd madness, total mayhem, the electricity in the air, nothing will ever beat their European summer in 1987. Their 90s stuff was great as well but after All You Cant Leave Behind it has really been a steep downhill slide. Still, the memories remain and that's something after all those years.
@josoerlemans5266 Жыл бұрын
Sure, the electricity was in their Unforgetable Fire tour. Was there at Rock Torhout in 1985 (aged 16). Seven days before they staged at Live Aid and played themselves to eternal fame.

Bono has never been given the genuine praise he deserves for his VOICE. Lyrically he's simply a genius. He's also extremely intelligent & aware of the big picture outside of the music biz & isn't shy to expose the extreme poverty. Few know of his work with Bill/Melinda Gates. Who does that better as a celebrity-really? Ya gotta love Bono!!!

The Unforgettable fire and The Joshua tree was U2 ascending to the pinnacle. Acthung bay was the summit and their masterpiece, their Opus. Zooropa and All that You can't leave are great albums also but they have never reached the same heights as The Joshua Tree and Acthung baby. Still to this day my 1 & 2 favourite albums of all time.
