We have Mitchell, Helms, and McIntyre as TEs. Tight end is not an overly complicated position and we really think a tight end that had 200 yards receiving at Tulsa would make a big difference? Mitchell was basically a 5 star TE that should’ve been a freshman this upcoming year, give him a chance to be the H-Back/TE and hopefully Helms stays healthy.

Now we need to pick up some WRs

We are picking up WR. The top 5 SEC receivers started as FCS schools or something like that. I’m really excited about the additions today
@cryhwks3 күн бұрын
The biggest next pickup would be that Tackle from GT. You add someone like that, then your O Line isn't just good, it's a real strength of your team. And if that is the case, with the QB in hand, everything else will take care of itself.

@@cryhwks That is my big hope is for him to help OL. Need a couple more WR… Also, I like the LB we offered and hosted last Summer on a OV.

if Mateer had not joined, BV would be toast.... however, now that he has, if all the chips fall into the perfect position, BV will be smiling as OU crushes all comers! Boomer

Why do i feel the same reason most hate nil, will also be the same reason we put a team together that can win next year.
@dezgarrett27902 күн бұрын
Well because most people saying they dont like NIL because it wasn't helping OU at the time. Now that they guy who supposedly doesn't care about NIL took 2.5 million...then NIL is good again.
@mwright_boomer2 күн бұрын
I don’t like NIL regardless. I don’t like the portal either. Both together makes CFB a lot less fun to watch. CFB was great because it wasn’t like the NFL. It’s becoming more like the NFL all the time though

@@mwright_boomer Has nothing to do with whats going on on the field. Seems like you just dont like that the kids are getting paid. Might was well tune out now, because thats not going anywhere.

Don’t tell me JJF is recruiting OR coaching as hard as he could when our TE room has been total ass for three years outside Brayden Willis who isn’t his guy. He made his name off one stud TE back at Missouri and has jacked around at three major schools doing nothing after that.

Please keep your personal political bias out of a sports podcast. Don’t you think we’ve just survived a 2 years long political enema in this country? Regardless of their political preferences , I would bet most folks are just sick of politics right now in general , but for sure on a sports show. Please stop this crap!

So another season where a QB is handed the starting spot with no competition 🙄
@Im_Old_Gregg2 күн бұрын
I agree with your sentiment but this one is different obviously since he's proven himself to be a really good college QB although at a slightly lower level of competition

The last QB we did that with won us 10 games last year.
