Been playing mine with AC40 and SRM 16, it's also been slapping. I fire AC20 then SRM16 then the other AC20 in quick succession and it negates the ghost heat. First game was 8 kills, been loving it. I've tried firing 2 rounds of AC20 with half the SRMs but doesn't seem to work as well, plus the other is near a constant stream of being slapped in the cockpit. LBX60 Dire Whale is also fun!

I've been having a lot of fun with my free mauler too. Like lots of people have been saying I run mine with AC40, but I'll give this a try as well. Nice not to have to worry about ghost heat

TTB, if you had to pick 2 IS heavy’s and Assaults that you perform the best in, what would they be? I’m in a weird spot atm with IS in general; I’m typically a medium pilot. But I NEED to broaden my scope a bit.

If you typically pilot Mediums, and you have some extra MC from Christmas, might I suggest a Quickdraw IV-4 for your first foray into IS Heavies; it's still meta as hell and relatively easy to pilot. Not to overdo Heroes, but the Cyclops Slepnir is a good Assault for having great mobility with overwhelming firepower. The triple AC-20 Victor can also move similar to a medium, but it'll probably be an Assault with an XL; take at your own risk.

@@loughlan775 to be fair, I’m not ‘new’ to IS for anything. I’ve been around for a long time, but I put the game down for years and haven’t reintroduced myself to IS heavy’s and assaults since. I just know that TTB prefers big stompy robots and I wanted to cut through the crap and pull out the meta for this upcoming ISC tourny. I do have a victor loaded with heavy gauss I enjoy, and just bought the dragon slayer for gauss dual PPC action. Also have the IV4 mrm build. I just need to grow back into these classes and fast. I’d like to broaden up my skills a bit more for a while, though mediums will always be my #1.

Könntest du mit einem Video dieses seltsame Treasure Hunting erklären ? Ich spiele nur offline und bin auch schon 15 und hab alle Mechs dies gibt und bin reich usw, aber ich verstehe nicht wie ich dieses Treasure hunting machen soll. Das wäre toll und findet bestimmt viele suchende =)

It happens all the time. I team killed because some idiot ran right in front of trying to get the last kill, I was ahead, fired quad er large lasers, and this hellspawn just jumps right in, launches its srms, steals the kill, then dies to me. Such bullshit.

I once had a team mate in a cicada step in front just as i fired an alpha with my scorch. 84 damage, right up his ass. I feel no pity for him.

I swear, from the shit spawn points to the invisible hit boxes around the rock formations, Tourmaline Desert may be the worst map in the game.
