I am back to this video and two of my favorite groups. There is a sadness and urgency and despair and resistance in both UADA and MGLA . If nothing more the choice of this film conveys all of the emotions and feelings right on. So what we get is the epic melange of visual and audio mastery. Consequently a new masterpiece has been created and that feels absolutely uplifting because if something is this good it should live forever.

Very interesting and well made video. I’m not sure exactly what it means but if I had to guess it shows what someone is willing to do and experience if it means that they will get out alive even if they don’t agree with it. And shows the brutality of corrupt men who only want control and want no one else to be free. Maybe I’m wrong? But that’s my take on it. WW2 was a very brutal time.

At first I rooted for the main character because he did what he could to survive the current brutal, chaotic and confusing circomstanses. But that horrible scene at 15:50 made me lose any form of symphathy with the so called "Hauptmann". Absolutely disgusting (he was rightfully punished for his actions after the war, though). I wouldn't be surprised if one of the reasons it was filmed in black and white, was also due to the extreme depiction of violence/gore. But this movie is a must see, with an original ending scene which seriously took a lot of balls to pull off 🤣. Oh, before I forget, I didn't even know Uada was a thing, since I only know Mgla a bit from their awesome Mdlosci and Hearts towards none stuff. They seem like an okay band which looks heavily inspired by Mgla.
