One thing I hope people realize about Spark (which I didn't know)... the Spark subscription does NOT give you the DSP version of the plugins! So for example, you will have the UADx version of the Neve plugin, but you will NOT be able to use it as a preamp (unless of course, you bought it regardless of the subscription). Just something to keep in mind.
@EdThorne Жыл бұрын
If you buy a Native Bundle though you get the DSP versions! The Spark subscription is designed for those who don't have an Apollo and therefore can't access the DSP versions. If you own an Apollo and own DSP plugins, you will get the Native version for free if you set up a UA connect account. They're making it pretty enticing really.

@@LodvarDude exactly! And plus they’ll be adding other plugins as time passes so we’ll probably be able to run all the plugins that came with our units and those we’ve bought as well free of charge. It’s a win win if you ask me and I’ll probably end up cancelling my slate subscription if this becomes better.

There is SO much value in the Apollo besides mixing with UAD plugins! The value in the Apollo is in the Unison Preamps, UAD plugins, near zero latency whilst monitoring with the plugins, the ability to print these monitoring effects as you record, it’s expandability with other UA devices, AND it’s desktop controller functionality. Plus, the monitor routing flexibility is far superior. AND we get all these native plugins for free giving us versatility and flexibility. It’s a bonus!
