the opening notes are so ravagingly desolate... it's a devastating feeling, as if something is pulling at the insides of my feet, into the earth... brings stinging tears to my eyes. : )

I heard this for the first time in a used book shop today. The acceleration into the final segment around the 7:00 mark is in 11/16. At least, that's how I'd write it. I think the end of the phrase is in 14/16 (or two 7/16s). I'll have to get back to you on the rest ... :-p
