I prefer newer uamee but only by a tiny bit. While in 2017 we got Perestroika, Gop Stop, Zaraza, Protivogaz and Squat Culture, in 2020 we got Glock vs Makarov, Milking it, Dirst Ej Cake, Slavhammer 40k and Breadbox. I personally think that 2017 uamee had more tracks that are kinda forgettable. These are still pretty good songs ngl but they are kinda "weak" compared to what we are used to uamee. Its tracks like Rush B, E34 or Gamer Gopnik. While most uamee songs are at least an 8/10, these ones are just a 7/10. In 2020 all tracks have been at least 8/10 and none of the tracks that uamee has released this year were any type of forgettable. And belive it or not 3 uamee songs of this year are in my top 10 favorite non collab uamee songs (Glock vs Makarov, Dirst Ej Cake and Milking It). As said 2017 uamee still has its masterpieces and yes Perestroika is my favorite uamee song but overall i think 2020 uamee is just a bit better. Edit: I also like it that newer uamee is more experimantal and trys out new things with the hardbass formula. And when i look at at my favorite 2017 songs, almost all of them have something that stands out over a regular hardbass song. My top 4 favorite 2017 (Perestroika, Zaraza, Gop Stop, Squat Culture) uamee songs all have at least 1 think that separate them from the others. And same can be said about my favorite 2020 tracks. It can be said for almost every 2020 track but in my opinion thats a good thing. I still like it that uamee is making some classic hardbass here and there tho.

Ay blyat I personally think that older uamee is better because there’s more bass, less lyrics, and all around great quality. With the newer uamee however it just feels like a downgrade as there is less bass, more lyrics which distract you from the song, and it just feels rough around the edges. All of the 2020 songs were really good up until glock vs makarov where, like I said has less bass, more lyrics, and is not really good. However, there are a few exceptions such as Slavhammer and 74 47. With those however the lyrics aren’t too overwhelming and make the songs better. Nowadays the songs are around what’s popular and is painfully obvious with creeper tsunami and isn’t so obvious in Slavic breadbox. What I’m trying to say is that older uamee feels more premium than the newer uamee. But hey, we all have opinions and I respect that

That's the kind of hardbass that I miss eventually :( Back in the day, when i started to listen, we had DJ Blyatman's Chernobyl, Gopnik's dark hardbass, uamee's "boingy" bass, XS Project's speedy music and so on. Now we have lyrical hardbass, what is trash, to be honest :( Hope more like this coming soon again, and hardbass will get back to it's former glory :)

I cant find any good hardbass tutorials online, so, I thought I could try to ask you if you have any good tips or tricks? Like what plugins should I get and how do you mix and master your songs? I still don't have FL Studio producer edition only fruity edition because I am poor gopnik, but I think I can get it soon.
