not only is it like "make peace" with someone who broke into your house and killed your wife....it's someone saying "hey, how about we stop the fighting and let him have legal access to your living room...as a small price to pay for everlasting peace of mind. This is the fault of OBAMA who at the time of Crimean incursion didn’t do anything that will punish Russia, so Putin took it for granted the same with the 2022 invasion that Biden didn’t warn Putin that America will help Ukraine in any form possible to defend their territory but instead they keep on repeating that America won’t interfere if Putin invade. Unlike before America is very strong and acting like a true world policeman to deter dictators to invade their neighbors.

On the subject of the gas being cut off: the contracts were reported as being for a set time years ago. So the taps shut off should be no surprise. I believe they are trying to further destabilize russia as a whole and have more land to bargain for in peace talks. Also russian advances in the east are slowing down. And they have to divert effort to defend their own land, stretching russian forces even more thin further in ukraine.

I can explain, but for that, I need a little math.
