This is classic "inside versus outside lines." Ukraine has extremely short logistics lines: 5 paved roads converge on Sudzha. However, for so-called russians to reinforce, they have to go the long way around, and they can't do it en masse because the roads are under Ukrainian drone surveillance and within HIMARS range. Ukraine can shift resources within hours while the so-called russians need days in order to counter. Even disregarding the political consequences of the breakout, it will force the Kremlin to obtain more troops from somewhere just to constrain Ukraine's ability to poke at will, in "if you feel mush, push" fashion, from unexpected directions. That somewhere is going to create further opportunities for Ukraine. Kursk is a Chinese finger trap: doing what you THINK you need to do to get your fingers out of it makes your situation worse. This is a fascinating patch of ground. Books have already been written about it once. More books will be written about it after the war. Thanks for keeping our eyes on it, RfU!

Unfortunately, this video is making it out be something it's not. There is no major offensive push in Kursk by Ukraine. It's already over. It was 1 company that pushed 5km then they stopped. No other areas of the Kursk has seen any real changes. It's lovely news for sure but it was just a couple tanks and up to a dozen armored vehicles and they got 5km. That's it, show is over. No changes on the line in 24 hrs.

But this kinda broke my heart ... in a human way... 😥
