First Procession of Ukrainian Orthodox Church

The Orthodox Church of Ukraine has held its first procession since receiving the Tomos of Autocephaly, the decree of self government. Thousands walked through central Kyiv to the monument dedicated to Volodymyr the Great to mark one thousand and 31 years since the baptism of the Kyivan Rus'.

There is a massive Statue of St. Michael the Archangel in Independence Square in Kiev Ukraine. They have a great devotion to him, so it is only fitting that we, the world, pray St. Michael's Prayer for Peace in Ukraine and in the whole world. Set it to the homepage on the screens as a reminder to pray it often…. “St Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.
