'When Zelenskyy put out the call for help, to me it was a destiny calling. I didn't even question it.' Lee Naylor, who served in the British Army, has arrived to Ukraine since the full-scale russian war as a volunteer to protect Ukrainian citizens. He has served in the International Legion for the Defence of Ukraine, in the 47th Separate Mechanised Brigade as a warrior and now in the 151st Training Centre as an Instructor of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He saw everything with his own eyes. And he can tell the truth about this russian war.

I really do hope that you are still safe and that you continue to be safe while you are carrying out your duties in the Ukrainian army🇬🇧🫡.I have followed this war from the very moments that we all saw the atrocities carried out by the Russian's on the news and the Internet. To hear about how you came to be in Ukraine and all the many reasons why I have to admit that even though I don't know you, I happen to be very very proud of you and your actions regarding the Ukrainian people and this war 👍🫡🫡🫡. I don't know if you read any other vlogs or look at the pro Ukr war maps from time to time, but Ukraine is not winning .... they are not prevailing. They are losing ground now regularly. Even Zelensky has said that he will eventually have to sit down with the Russians. The regime change and hurt Russia project has been a massive failure, putting the European economies into a death spiral. Peace will return to Ukraine ...... but only when Putin says so.

Both claim there are 100s of veteran US and NATO pilots who would volunteer and fight tomorrow given the opportunity. The EU should set up a modern day "Flying Tigers" unit in Ukraine.

Geopolitics is a bit more complex than childhood bullying. Russia will take land in Ukraine, we knew this from the start. They have way more resources, they’ve ramped up military production all the while western aid is slowing down. So in reality, tens of thousands of people have been sacrificed to delay the inevitable. The likelihood that Russia will invade more countries is small. It has absolutely no precedent to invade other countries + they’d never invade NATO countries because that’s an instant article 5
@mrmrgaming
@mrmrgaming 2 ай бұрын
@mmediocahyt1170 Moldova has already taken the first steps. How long before "We Want to Join Russia" starts. Latvia and Estonia have less than 2 million people. Yes, they are in NATO, but would NATO go to war over a small country that has fewer people than most big cities.....nope. Plus, Russia will turn around and stop sending grain. That would throw the world into chaos. We have seen how people in other countries look at Ukraine and say, "It's not my problem." Those same people who are losing jobs, cannot buy food would soon turn and say "Its just a small country, hardly any one lives there. Let Russia have it so I can get my food again." The only thing that will stop Russia is production or, if some of his own finally turn on him. In the meantime, the West has to give Russia a very bloody nose so that one or both of those things happen.

This soldier has a wealth of knowledge from being a well trained soldier in the British Army. He now has experienced real combat and put use of his training for a very good cause, he is a great asset for Ukraine. There are also many combat veteran American soldiers have gone over to fight in Ukraine who have very extensive combat and training experience to fight for Ukraine because it's a good cause and help fight a real enemy. The British Army is a very small but professional army, he as an a Sergeant now in the Ukrainian Army as a training instructor he will be very beneficial to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Proud of you Lee! All NATO countries need to look at their laws on allowing serving/reservists to volunteer for Ukraine. Govts should sponsor any (ex-mil) volunteers with standard NATO equipment befitting their experience and civilian organisations should be able to sponsor units with everything from tea bags to deadly weapons.

I've got very close friends in Dnipro who I speak with almost every day. I would give up everything to be there with them. No military experience, but I could do something to help. Unfortunately I've got cancer, and if I don't continually monitor it and do treatment, I wouldn't last very long. Life is interesting, how it never goes the way you expected.

At 5:00 minutes into the video It seems like this man/soldier/dad/hero is a pretty good and decent man. It seems like this is one final effort and way that he could possibly find satisfaction in knowing that more than one thing good and great came out of his life, and he did the best he could. He knew where he was needed the most at this point in time, and he gave himself to that commitment.

Damn right, at least I know I do, gotta keep them strong and independent, the aim of the British empire in its last days was to take down dictators before we hung up our hat, but some countries didn't understand the issues behind being one clearly. Some of us feel strong about the world issues, some are just doing their day to day, but the greater picture matters for the smaller reality, even if they don't see or grasp it.

In the course of many decades and esp the 20 th century , the UK always took the right side of history even though it was not obvious. Now again the UK supports UA because the Brits can't stand injustice and always want to help out. We will learn a great deal with this war and how strategies are made in the future and what is good or can be improved. We learned a lot of the heroic fighters in UA and I am sure we will come to a solution that dictators have no place anymore in a peaceful Europe. I hope good relations in the aftermath will also benefit the UK who has done so much to support UA in his endless struggle to be free from Russian oppression and won't succeed without all of our help in Europe.
