Hey there. Thank you for sharing. It's important to hear what these soldiers have to say. Do you think you could keep the original sound as an alternate audio and add subtitles with the English translation? I find it very difficult to follow the dubbed audio. Maybe it's just me. Funny how none of the captured soldiers actually killed anyone. Maybe they just mean hand-to-hand combat, because thousands of Ukrainian heroes have been killed by someone. This strategy of not drafting people from Moscow and St, Petersburg is a good one. They won't feel the need to revolt, and the people from all the distant, separated places can't organize. Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the heroes!

This soldiers testimony bears out what the statistics have been saying for over a year. September 6th 2023. A prolonged war might be OK for Russians living in Moscow, St Petersberg, etc who have had only 120 conscripts per 10,000 of the city population conscripted to fight. But in the poorer less educated agricultural areas to the south and east of the major cities they have had conscripted 750 - 1000 (south) to 1250-1500 (East, Far East) out of 10,000 of their population, sent to war. It seems the city elites will be OK, but those other poorer folk are going to die in large numbers, to keep the elites safe.

1 dead is too many. These are young boys and men, forced by an Authoritarian regime to fight or be shot in the back by their own "Motherland". But as usual the gutless US stands back and waits, like they did in WWII, they tie the Ukranians hands behind their backs by failing to provide the right arms and supplies and some are even saying they shouldn't keep funding and/or assisting the Ukranians. This coming from a country who needed help from the French to fight their own civil war against the English. This isn't a fight between countries, this is one man with an overstretched ego, forcing his ideals upon his citizens and forcing them to kill their own relatives, blood and common neighbour. Yes, glory to Ukraine, but the fact the US and the world, including my spineless weakling of a politicial leader, can sit back and watch children and women be murdered en masse is disgraceful. We as Westerners should hang our head in shame at leaving 16 year old girls to fight a war to protect OUR freedom.

He repeated how much shooting he has done and he's been there in hot zones for a long time. Of course he killed people, that's precisely what he went there to do. Given that it's not easy to understand the overdub, and the cutting out of the interviewer (likely for time) chops the conversation quality, one must pay closer attention to get the story straight. One must also resist projecting oneself onto the speaker in such self-deluded efforts to make him out better than he is.
