UB40's music has a special place in my heart as it always manages to uplift my mood and take me back to the sunny days spent on the beach in Punta Cana. Their songs are all about overcoming hardships and finding hope in difficult times. In addition, the band's activism and social commentary in their music has always been a source of inspiration for me. It's amazing how their music has been a soundtrack to so many lives for over 40 years. I´m just waiting for new emotions.🙃

So Ali left around 2008? That would have been drastic. I'm glad you're still a band but without the originals and the ones that have passed on. It will never hit me the same.

I agree with you on this one. I have been a massive fan of the Official UB40 for at least 30 years or so. And with Brian Travers passing away & also Astro passing away as well after leaving the band in 2013, and also Mickey virtue retiring from music altogether, the band will never ever be the same ever again. And don't forget Duncan Campbell retired from the band for health reasons and now Matt Doyle being Lead singer the band will never be the same again. Tony mullings who replaced Mickey Virtue as Keyboard player has also recently left the band as well. Not sure who the new Keyboard player is now. So many changes in the band now it's hard to keep track. However, i still support the Band 100% and have pre-ordered the new album.
