+Dave Wilson I'm sure that you must have searched the answer to your question by now but if you haven't, the year of UB40's tour in the USSR was 1986. It was a good year!! I would have liked to have seen the video too.

+Pab9UB44 The funny thing is the Russian official on stage is not telling the audience what UB40 was telling the crowd to do. This tour into Russia was a big for them.

+Dave Wilson I can't comment on what the Russian official said but can on the tour. At the time, a tour in The USSR by any western band would have been a big thing and a great life experience.

@@pab9ub447 for sure he is saying this song is called Rat in the kitchen. I am British with a Russian hubby for 5 years now. An 80's child with a dream to learn Russian finally getting her dream 40 years later. Russian language appears to have many interesting connections to East London slang and olde English too. I would have never realised we had such a close connection. Quite an amazing language and culture.
