Minute 55:37. I have a big question. Why didn't Sander draw two chips when he came up with 4 and 3? He would have won the game including Backgammon, is that move of just taking out a chip valid? Thank you.

The ++ assessment was slightly wrong at 41:21. A lengthy rollout (10368 games at 4 ply) gave it as a .03 redouble with 98% certainty .799 .802

I think you confuse people about the format by talking about "playing to win" vs. "playing for low PR". There are definitely some differences, but that is super rare and in general you need to explain to casual viewers that playing perfects PR is also "playing to win" because both these players recognize that XG is the best player and that the error rating is valid for "chance to win"

Can a player appeal a ++ decision to the higher court of a rollout ? Perhaps even a 4ply rollout ? If so, how many games ? If not, and if ++ is wrong, will a player suffer more from the "PR" loss, or the decreased chance of winning ? I suspect that the bogus PR loss would weigh more heavily on his overall winning chance, and players must study where ++ is wrong, and make the inferior play.

the difference is most stark in complicated back-games. here, it would be impracticable to predict what ++ (or even some rollouts) will erroneously consider the best play; or by what margin. In those kind of games (see monte carlo final) both players' PRs blow up, and the number of decisions becomes the main factor (unless there is high skill differential).

Question? How can the Cubeful Equity be +1.000 for No Redouble in the end of game one, when Mochi 'only' has 93% winning chances? This means that it is not an error to not double and hence we can roll for decisions... I find this strange.

Not sure who came up with the idea that a PR win is worth as much as a real win, but that is a very arbitrary position. One could just as easily make the case that a PR win is worth half as much as a real win. In soccer yellow and red cards aren't worth the same as goals, are they?

Great game. However. In a 7 point match. There is too much temptation for the dice God's. Accepting a 4 cube in a 7 point match. Good news if you want an early night. A match could end with one game as we saw a potential Backgammon. In Sanders game with ZZ. I think the advertising execs at Carlsberg missed a great opportunity. I won a match on 6 pints of Guinness. So I get it.

Perhaps a Yellow flag should be given when someone makes a "PR" play of not cubing when its a drop and there is no chance of a gammon. A 0.05 penalty would be fair.
