In this video I worked Uber Eats in Brooklyn, NY for about 2 and a half hours. I got orders back to back in all directions of Brooklyn. All the riding I do and uber episodes are done on my NJS track bike.

Amazing videos bro been wanting to start do deliveries too just wondering if you have any tips. Shout out from queens

Biggest tip would be to feel comfortable cycling in the city first.. once you feel comfortable go for it. Simple as that. Also carry some tools in case you get a flat haha it will happen and I’ve learned the hard way.

When you take a photo of the delivery bag, who gets the photo?
@John09887 Жыл бұрын
If your referring to taking the picture of the order you deliver to the customers? The photo goes to the customer to let them know where the delivery bag is, there's also an option to leave a note with the picture. Pretty standard procedure for ubereats if the customer chose no contact delivery. The photo part basically protects the delivery person from responsibility from customers who pretend they didn't receive the order, and at the same time helps typical honest customers know where the order was left for them.

How do you stop your bike?
@alvarotrujillo40482 жыл бұрын
It’s a track bike so if I need to stop on an emergency I can skid.. but I usually try to flow as much as I can without having to stop.. when I know I have to stop soon, I back peddle to slow down the bike and eventually come to a stop. It’s second nature when you get used to it. You’re in full control of your bike.

those wide handlebars are not in the favor of lane filtering. Have like a 46cm drop bar, very wide for drop and 52cm flat handlebar.

@@alvarotrujillo4048 thanks for the response. I used to do deliveries by car but want to transition to bike. Don’t want to order a bike online. Can you recommend any bike shops where I can pick up a quality steel fixed gear? I’m looking to spend $700-$800 but will pay more for the right bike. I’m open to aluminum as well. Any help would be much appreciated. I’m in NY. Thanks.

@@moe8490 ahh nice! I’d suggest steal bike for sure.. atleast in my opinion. I think king kog in Brooklyn is a good start. They always have great bikes there and if not complete then they can help you and guide to building one.
