Seems like a GREAT idea but did you know that a riding sharing company called GRAB who implemented this idea back in 2016 or so? I know because I have a relative who works for GRAB and this was their business model for over 6 years! Sorry Uber, you are a little late to the party UNLESS you've been trying to 'milk' consumers and drivers for as long as possible.
