My dad was adopted and he used the same website, ancestry DNA, and he got a match just like James except it said the person was his mother. My dad eventually contacted her and she responded and confirmed she had given a child up for adoption. Luckily, my dad is closer with his biological mom now and if you compare pictures of them, the physical characteristics are uncanny. I can confidently say this website is legitimate and so are the results.
