This is why I don't accept Pool anymore, I had someone tell me we needed to make a stop to pickup another passenger. I said "sir you selected pool, I can only take you to your final destination, I cannot pickup or make any stops along the way". Cheap people wanting the UBER X service, pay a little more and you can split the ride 2 ways with your friend, have them Venmo you some money for 1/2 the ride.

Had a rating of 4.8 as a driver, but after picking up two pool riders, they both wanted me to make additional stops or get them to work on time by "stopping requests." Don't cheat, okay? Select an X instead. Makes me feel stressed as a driver to tell you you should have selected an X -- and then give me a bad rating -- have to follow the rules and cannot accommodate or be nice to people who want a cheap ride and then think they can cheat. Now have a 4.7 rating. Pissed me off!

Does this really happen???? I ended up here because I was in the city for a few days in Chicago. We tool Uber the entire time we were there but it ended up being so annoying. The app kept making us walk. I’m not familiar with the city so it made thing 10x worse. After a few Uber rides we ended up paying a little extra for Uberx. Although I think it’s a nice concept but I just find it rather annoying in a big city.

Aide Florian Uber changed the app so that it is automatically EXPRESS Pool unless you push several buttons to switch and pay extra for regular pool. Express Pool, also known as Uber Bus Stop, means that you have to walk a few blocks to get to the car and to your destination. The upside is that it is usually $1 to $1.50 cheaper than regular pool which picks you up where you are and drops you off where you want.

As an driver I refuse to accept ANY pool requests. Ever wonder why on your map it shows a driver right beside or very close to you but yet when a driver accepts your uber pool request its more than 10 mins away. Its cause other drivers don't want to deal with uber pools bullshit as well and that one driver that accepted is just desperate for a fare. Stop Being cheap and use Uber X instead of trying to save $0.50 on pool and then bitching about sharing the car or multiple pick ups and drop offs.

I had a weird situation with pool recently. The guy in the front seat wanted the windows open, the girl in the back seat wanted em closed. An argument ensued. Weird fucked up situation. I personally wanted the windows open as the guy stank a little bit but it was freakin cold so the girl had a point as well. So I left the passenger side window open and the other 3 closed......both got a 1 rating from me. How would you deal with a situation like this?

most people just select a ride on pool because it's the first option and that don't know any better. here's the problems. 1) you riders can't change there address once in the uber. 2) if one wants to get dropped off before the other, you can't allow even if they agree. 3) this means if someone wants a round trip it can't happen unless you drop both passengers off at the same location and clear the job. 4) If first passenger wants you to cancel other pool passenger you get screwed on money. I once got a 1.50 for driving 5 miles wth. 5) You want to see messed up? wait till you do it after hours. You pick up a couple hotties and your next ride is some drunk sleeve who can keep his mouth shut out his hands to himself. talk about a awkward situation. if you say anything your rating goes down the shitter. the only way to deal with it is to kick him out.

another problem is passenger knows how to work the system, they request pool and have a second rider but not input it on the number of riders just to pay less. The problem with this if there's an accident who is responsible for that second rider? Uber knows about this cause drivers been calling support but not get compensated and not doing anything about it. This issue needs to be addressed to California Attorney General office for public safety.

I once did a uber pool from the city to Grenwich on a Friday rush hour, it took me more than one hour to get there and then another hour to drive back. I've got paid just over £12 pounds and still spent more than 5 pounds in fuel. In the end I got 6 or 7 pounds for 2 hours work. TRUE STORY

Uber pool rider get upset at a much more frequent rate about 6 times more than in a Uber ride. You quite often have to walk to the pick up point and get dropped a few blocks from your destination sometimes as well.

I am Uber driver in NYC. when I get request for pool. I had issue with this old lady who didnt know about pool. I explain to her it goes who the closet. when they ask me to cancel the other rider. I tell them I can't. next time just order Uber X. some passengers is okay with it cause ride is cheap. The main reason why drivers have cancel UBERPool trips is - Ryder not shown and the 95% why the Riders not shown is - drop the pin system (terrible in accurate) uberPOOL will use only the manual address set system. Try and see the difference!

If your running late than you shouldn't request pool in first place. What I really like about this clip is the tissues. Yeah I hate accepting Uber Pool request because I know something like this will happen. In the mornings when everyone is trying to get to work, someone will request POOL with the hopes that no one else will request one during their trip which never happens because its rush hour!! Or some cheap moron heading to the airport who is running late will request Pool instead of X then bitch because I have to go pick up other people and he's in danger of missing his flight. Uber is already a cheap way to get a ride, then these people request a pool for a 7 minute trip. As if the extra dollar would kill them. I always 1 star short pool trips because the rider was just being a cheap bastard. We drivers do this to make a living not help charity cases. FFS A way get around this now is I just accept the POOL then hit STOP NEW REQUEST. I hate when I show up in my 2016 Dodge Dart and 5 huge people start walking to my car grinning. Why would 5 huge dudes not request a bigger vehicle? So now I say I can only take as many passengers that have seat belts.
