I mean I’ve seen some stand up scooters where the engine is actually in the middle, it too is belt and chain driven, and the gas tank is actually underneath the deck.

Previous owner of the scooter put them on. They’re like aftermarket motorcycle protection fucking things when you’re dumb and drop your bike. Haven’t taken them off yet because they look kind of interesting I guess 😂
