I know you've done torque converter comparisons before. I would love to see the comp on this bike. However, I really like the simplicity of the straight chain, and it seemed like it has enough power to drive around in normal traffic. In my town, we are allowed to ride on all the streets (except main street) with our minibikes and ATVs. If we get a safety inspection pass, then we can go on main street also. I want to get this same bike new, make it like yours, and put blinkers, mirrors, front brake, and street tires, so I can cruise town and go anywhere I like. I love this channel! It's like minibike school and so fun. Ride that beast!

Even a stock 212 with a TC is better imo then a mild mod 212 with a centrifugal clutch. I suppose one could argue that a centrifugal clutch is fine for the street. Offroad, you definitely want a TC.

I have the same bike with the stock 212 and torque converter. Mine tops out at 42. The low end pick up is really nice though.

I used the clutch from the jack shaft as a straight chain set up and destroyed the chain the same day. Got any tips that might help prevent another broken chain?
@Black662 жыл бұрын
Yes, I haven't had a problem. I think maybe the reason is I used 40 chain on that bike . Its a little beefier chain over the 41

Is the Coleman mini bike like you got automatic
@Ezdrumms2 жыл бұрын
I put a 60t sprocket on the back with the straight chain cuz I wanted to see if that would give me my torque back and for the most part it did, I still have a 10t on the front but I have a 12t just waiting to be put on lol
@Black662 жыл бұрын
I have a video coming out with the 60 sprocket! It is a rocket ship!

Does the life span shorten without the Jack shaft when running the straight chain? Which one has better longevity overall between straight chain, jackshaft and torque converter?
@Black662 жыл бұрын
I think the one with fewer parts to break is the one that should last the longest.
@Dingbobber2 жыл бұрын
The torque converter helps the driveshaft and engine from loading up on torque. Basically a straight chain would wear out your motor faster
@mr.liggins90922 жыл бұрын
@@Dingbobber maybe but if you up size the rear sprocket it helps with the load

Could you send me in the directions for the part that your connecting the throttle cable to please. The part that your had to solder. Thanks so much!
@jenniferj75888 ай бұрын
Take the twist gas throttle off and use a break lever on your bikes you get more full throttle than the twist kind ..Or use a thumb throttle your choice but i like the break lever on my bikes I even replace on my scooters too .
@jenniferj75888 ай бұрын
For the break lever throttle you can even use one finger ...
